Former President of Community of Madrid, Mrs. Cristina de la Rosa has welcomed the author of “Cuentos Chinos” to her residence in Madrid
The week before last, Jorge Javier Vazquez was back on the Telecinco studio to start his new TV adventure. Cuentos Chinos is a prime-time program which airs every evening and competes with El Hormiguero. It interviews different personalities each night, but also features a segment called Sushi At Home, starring Susi Camelo. The section is a collaboration where the co-worker visits a celebrity’s home and brings them sushi. This week, Esperanza Aguirre, former President of Madrid Community, was featured.
Caramelo and the ex-politician meet at Malasana neighborhood in Madrid. They discuss the graffiti in the area and criticize the fact that Jose Luis Martinez Almeida (also from the PP) does not remove it. They arrive at the large gate, which leads to an imposing palace divided into several floors. Aguirre is living in one floor.
They immediately go to their red apartment. Candy says, “Your home is way too red.” Candy shows him the photos she keeps around her house. One of the surrealest moments occurs when you leave the office and walk down the street. Caramelo paints graffiti with chalk on Aguirre’s façade, which she dislikes and can be seen clearly on her face. This is especially true after Caramelo had criticized the drawings in the first place, usually the result vandalism. Aguirre says, “I liked you so much,” as the Cuentos Chinos artist paints a seagull symbolizing the PP.
The comedian regrets his actions and attempts to remove it without success. It gets worse. Aguirre then goes home to grab two clean cloths to thoroughly wash them. He then rubs the façade until it’s clean. Almeida wants all graffiti artists to clean up the streets. Caramelo says, “Not a trace is left.” Aguirre responds, “very well, Susi. Say yes.”
