The Jersey Petanque Club moved its veranda in front of their clubhouse at Les Quennevais to the opposite side.
Dennis Le Mercier said that it left 130 club members “devastated”.
He stated: “The clubhouse is not repairable. It’s a total write-off.”

Geoff Reed Table Tennis Centre is on the path that the tornado took when it hit the island.
Eleni Midton, the centre’s president, said that although repairs have been made to it since then, it may still require a complete overhaul.
It was “definitely a difficult few weeks,” but the members were still able to enjoy the facilities and other areas on the island.
